Is it weird to use a cat stroller?
Look for zippers that lock and mesh that is made from durable material that doesn't give or fray easily. While it's not a good idea to use the stroller until your cat seems to be happy in it, there's always the chance that she can get started or spooked while you're outside, and she could try to claw her way out.
How do I get my cat to use the stroller?
Fit your cat in a feline-safe harness and leash. Place him in the stroller and make a short, slow test drive down your hallway to get him used to the motion of the stroller. Praise him and give him a small treat when he is sitting still. Repeat this a few times a day for a few days.
Why do people use pet strollers?
The stroller makes it easier to transport your cat or dog from the car to the office, creates a confined space for them when it's needed, and provides a safe and familiar den for napping. People are starting to use pet strollers instead of carriers.
