Shelters, rescues, vet clinics and cat groups are welcome to show the latest cat food recalls on their own website, for free. The box below updates itself whenever a new recall is added to our cat food recall database, so your visitors always see current recalls without you doing anything.

How to add it to your website
Copy the code below and paste it where you want the box to appear (for example in an HTML or “Custom HTML” block, a sidebar widget, or your page template).
- It won’t slow your site down. The widget is one small file (under 4 KB compressed). It loads after your page and never blocks it.
- No cookies, no tracking, no ads. It only shows the recall list and a link to the full database.
- Fits your page. The box is up to 420 px wide and shrinks on phones. Its styles are kept separate, so it won’t change the look of the rest of your site.
- Show fewer recalls: add
data-count="3"to the script tag to show 3 instead of 5.
The widget is free to use. All we ask is that you keep the link to the recall database in place. Recall details come from FDA recall notices and enforcement reports. Have a dog-focused audience? Our sister site Dog Food Guide has a dog food recall widget too.
